Let's dive in

Create your first project

1. Sign up

Click Get Started and sign in with your Google account. No password to remember — we use Google OAuth to keep things simple and secure.

2. Create a project

Once you're in, click New Project from the dashboard. Give your project a name (usually your product or company name) and add your website URL.

The website URL is important — we use it to automatically find existing testimonials about your product across the web.

3. Auto-scan for existing testimonials

When you create a project, Praize automatically scans these platforms for mentions of your product:

  • Trustpilot — Company reviews
  • Google Reviews — Business reviews (requires Google Places)
  • G2 — Software reviews
  • Reddit — Subreddit mentions and comments
  • Twitter/X — Tweets and replies
  • Hacker News — Comments and discussions
  • Bluesky — Posts and replies

Found testimonials appear in your inbox with a Pending status. Review each one and click Approve to add it to your collection, or Reject to hide it.

4. Set up your collection form

Every project gets a unique collection URL:

praize.io/collect/your-project-slug

Share this link with customers to collect new testimonials. They can submit text feedback, star ratings, and optionally include their name, role, and company.

New submissions arrive in your inbox for review. You control what gets published — nothing goes live without your approval.

5. Import existing testimonials

Already have testimonials scattered across emails, Slack, LinkedIn, or review sites? Use our import tools to bring them into Praize:

  • Magic URL Import — Paste any URL and we'll extract the testimonial
  • Screenshot Upload — Upload images of emails, DMs, or messages
  • Manual Entry — Type in testimonials from calls or meetings

See the Importing guide for more details.

6. Create and embed a widget

Once you have approved testimonials, head to the Widget tab to create your embed. Choose a layout, customize colors, and copy the embed code to your website.

See the Widgets guide for layout options and embedding instructions.
