Gather your praise

Importing Testimonials

Praize offers multiple ways to import testimonials you've already received. No more scattered praise across emails, Slack, and social media.

Magic URL Import

Paste any URL containing a testimonial — a LinkedIn post, G2 review, Trustpilot page, tweet, or blog mention. Praize will:

  1. Screenshot the page to capture the original context
  2. Use AI to extract the testimonial text
  3. Identify the author name, role, company, and avatar if available
  4. Detect star ratings or sentiment
  5. Save the source URL for reference

Supported sources: LinkedIn, Twitter/X, G2, Trustpilot, Capterra, Product Hunt, Reddit, Hacker News, blog posts, and any public webpage.

Screenshot Upload

Have a glowing Slack message, customer email, or WhatsApp chat? Upload a screenshot and our AI will extract:

  • The testimonial text
  • Author name (from message headers or signatures)
  • Date if visible
  • Any other context it can identify

Tips for best results:

  • Crop to just the relevant message — less noise means better extraction
  • Make sure text is legible (not too small or blurry)
  • Include the sender name/avatar if you want it extracted

Screenshot imports are perfect for private testimonials that aren't publicly accessible — customer emails, support tickets, Slack DMs, and internal feedback.

Manual Entry

For testimonials from phone calls, in-person meetings, or anywhere you can't screenshot, add them manually:

  • Content — The testimonial text (required)
  • Author name — Who said it
  • Role — Their job title
  • Company — Where they work
  • Rating — 1-5 stars (optional)
  • Avatar — Upload a photo or leave blank
  • Source URL — Link to original if applicable

Social Media Import

Connect your social accounts to import testimonials directly from:

  • Twitter/X — Import tweets mentioning your product
  • LinkedIn — Import posts and recommendations

Social imports preserve the original author profile, avatar, and link back to the original post.

Bulk Import

Have a spreadsheet of testimonials? Contact support and we'll help you import them in bulk. We support CSV files with columns for content, author, company, rating, and date.

After Importing

All imported testimonials arrive with a Pending status. Review each one in your project inbox:

  • Approve — Makes it available for widgets
  • Reject — Hides it from your collection
  • Edit — Fix typos or adjust details before approving

You can also add labels to organize testimonials by feature, use case, or customer segment — then filter your widgets to show only specific tags.
